A Raleigh-Area Wedding Venue Worth the Drive

Sueños by Casa JK is located approximately 35 miles from the heart of down-town Raleigh, making it an easy drive for couples and their guests. Couples that come from Raleigh love our expansive grounds that give them the creative freedom to create the wedding they’ve always dreamed of. The enchanting property boasts multiple ceremony spaces, ample and easy parking, as well as plenty of photo opportunities.

What’s Included at Sueños

  • If you are looking for an open and versatile space outside of Raleigh, our reception hall has you covered. The modern barn reception hall boasts 20 foot ceilings and 4,000 square feet of space big enough to hold up to 250 of your closest friends and families. The warming kitchen provides space for your caterer to set up and serve, complete with a commercial ice machine, warmer, and stainless steel worktops. The bar is built into the reception building as well, making set up easier on your decorators. The reception hall also includes a stage area for a band or DJ, 2 bathrooms, and a lovely foyer area for your guests.

  • Our covered pavillion provides a gorgeous 3200 square foot ceremony space, while also providing cover in the event of rain. The space is lit by bistro lights and the altar site is framed by our gorgeous Capilla in the background.

    For couples worried about the rain, the Pavillion provides excellent coverage for the ceremony as long as the winds aren’t high. In the event of stormier conditions, both the ceremony and the reception can be held in our main event space. In these special circumstances, we will be in close communication with your planner to ensure that your event goes off without a hitch.

  • Gorgeous courtyard to create a magical cocktail or reception lit with romantic bistro lights and centered by a picturesque gazebo. The courtyard provides a stunning space to set up cocktail tables and let your guests mingle before the reception starts.

    The outdoor areas also include access to our outdoor bathrooms, making your guests experience as comfortable as possible, while allowing you time to prepare the reception space without guests coming and going.

  • An immaculate “little chapel” for all those who would like to incorporate it into their event. The Capilla frames your ceremony and altar site creating a magical photo opportunity.

  • The primary cottage is a 1,60 square foot 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage with ample space for you and your wedding party to get ready for the day.

    The secondary cottage is a studio cottage with a living area, kitchenette, and full bathroom designed to give you a space to lounge and prepare for your big day.

    ou can come in as soon as your rental time starts to begin hair and makeup, have a relaxing breakfast, and prepare for photos, all in one location. We provide you the space to get ready and have your event all in one property so you can enjoy your day to the fullest.

  • We want your experience to be as seamless as possible, so we include tables, chairs, and white linens for up to 250 of your guests, as well as 5 miscellaneous tables for food, drinks, gift, cake, etc.

    We offer additional tables and furniture to rent to create a truly unique experience for your day.

  • While we do have an amazing list of vendors that we have worked with, we want to provide you with the flexibility to craft the event of your dreams. If you would like to bring in vendors that we haven’t worked with previously, we are happy to meet with them, give them a tour of the space and ensure that everything will flow smoothly the day of your event.

  • We have a large on-site gravel lot large enough to accommodate all of your guests cars and vendor vehicles. The lot is a very short walk from the venue. For guests that would like to be dropped off in front of the building, drivers are more than welcome to drop those guests at the front and drive the car back to the lot. Vendors are also welcome to unload in front of the building, and return their car to the lot.

Your wedding day at Suenos

To have a space to connect with family and friends is a treasure, and we are here to help you accomplish that mission in the most seamless way possible.

Getting Ready: Couples can begin their day, as soon as their rental time begins, using our two cottages designed to provide the space you need to get ready, have a bite to eat and prepare for wedding photos. Our cottages are big enough to provide the entire wedding party a space to relax and soak in the moments before the ceremony.

Ceremony: The ceremony usually takes place under the pavillion or around the gazebo in the courtyard. Both locations provide a picturesque backdrop for the ceremony site and provide plenty of space for you to customize your chair layout.

Cocktail hour: After the ceremony, the guests can flow naturally towards the courtyard or covered patio for drinks and snacks while the music plays in the background. Take this opportunity to serve unique finger food and provide your guests with fun activities. The couple and wedding party can also use this time to take photos and soak in the moment of just being married.

Reception: Once cocktail hour winds down, the couple can open the reception hall to their guests and everyone can find their seat. Dinner and dancing will be soon to come and the party can commence.

Sunset photos: While the guests are being entertained at the reception, the couple can take a moment around sunset to take stunning golden hour photos. Being outside of Raleigh on private property, means that we have the most beautiful and intense sunsets we have ever seen. Don’t forget to put this on your timeline!

Send-off: At the end of the night embrace your unique send-off vision and wrap up the evening with a beautiful photo session in front of the reception hall or in the courtyard. Do it with sparklers, a vintage car, or whatever makes your event unique to you.

Does Sueños have enough space for both the ceremony and reception?

We absolutely have enough space to host both your ceremony and reception. Generally the ceremony takes place outdoors under our Pavilion or in the courtyard and the reception takes place in the reception hall.

What happens if it rains on my wedding day?

We have had several weddings in the rain and they have been executed beautifully. The Pavilion provides ample coverage for rainy days when the winds aren’t high, allowing the couple to keep their ceremony outdoors. If there is a need to move the ceremony indoors, we work closely with your planner to ensure that both ceremony and reception take place in the Reception Hall.

We have the ability to accommodate up to 250 guests for your big day.
